Increasing access to quality attainable housing in Florida
FC100 member and President of The Garcia Companies Josh Kellam was joined by state and local leaders in Martin County to mark a major milestone for attainable housing in Florida. Terra Lago, a new mixed-income community in Indiantown, has officially opened its first 30 homes. Priced starting around $300,000, the homes offer monthly payments that are often lower than comparable rent in the region.
The development is part of a larger master plan to bring townhomes, apartments, green space, and long-term economic growth to western Martin County. A new $22.5 million investment in local wastewater infrastructure will further support the area’s growth.
This effort furthers the Florida Council of 100’s commitment to increasing access to quality, attainable housing for Florida’s workforce.
