Increasing access to quality attainable housing for Florida’s workforce
FC100 member Carlos Migoya and Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH) are advancing plans to create affordable housing for healthcare workers on their campus.
This effort will advance FC100’s mission to increase access to quality, attainable housing for Florida’s workforce. Additionally, improving housing affordability for healthcare workers will advance another effort by FC100 to increase access to primary care in underserved parts of Florida.
The redevelopment will include two towers with 808 units, at least half of which will be affordable for those earning up to 80% of the area median income (AMI), and roughly one-third of units will be affordable for those at 80-120% AMI. Priority will be given to JMH and nearby healthcare staff. The development will also feature retail space, a childcare center, and a 128-unit hotel.
