Tampa General Hospital (TGH), led by FC100 member John Couris, is expanding access to high-quality health care with a new clinic in the heart of historic Ybor City. The project is being developed in partnership with Casa Ybor, led by fellow FC100 member Darryl Shaw.

The project will include a new hospital and primary & urgent care services located on approximately 25 acres. The facility is an example of improving convenient access to health care for residents, workers, and visitors in the Ybor City area.

The development supports Tampa General’s broader approach to expanding care beyond traditional hospital settings and ensuring patients can access high-quality medical services where they live, work, and visit.

This effort led by John and Darryl is helping to improve health outcomes, support continued community growth, and advance the Florida Council of 100’s mission to expand access to primary care in underserved parts of Florida.
