February 17, 2026

The Florida Council of 100 today welcomed the announcement that Palantir Technologies Inc. is relocating its headquarters to Florida’s Gold Coast, calling the move a strong signal of the region’s growing role in attracting high-wage, high-impact industries.

Speaking at the Defense Tech Leadership Summit in West Palm Beach, hosted by Related Ross, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Vanderbilt University, Shon J. Manasco, Senior Counselor at Palantir Technologies, said, “Starting today, we are officially headquartered here in the Gold Coast.”

Palantir, a leading provider of AI systems, announced it will move its headquarters from Denver to Miami. The decision follows other recent expansions and relocations by leading tech firms to South Florida, reflecting the region’s growing appeal for CEOs, investors and founders drawn by its pro-growth environment and skilled workforce.

George LeMieux, Chairman of The Florida Council of 100, said, “Palantir’s relocation to Florida’s Gold Coast reflects the confidence that leading companies have in Florida’s long-term economic vision. This move strengthens Florida’s role as a center for innovation and national security and reflects our state’s commitment to supporting companies shaping the future.”

“Palantir’s decision to relocate its headquarters to Florida’s Gold Coast is a powerful validation of where growth is happening in America,” said Michael Simas, President and CEO of the Florida Council of 100. “Florida is building the platform for the next generation of high-wage industries. Through Ambition Accelerated, we are aligning leadership and capital to speed up that future. We are proud to welcome Palantir to the Gold Coast.”

Ambition Accelerated is a statewide initiative led by The Florida Council of 100 and supported by business leaders including Related Ross Chairman and CEO Stephen M. Ross and Citadel Founder and CEO Ken Griffin. The effort is focused on strengthening Florida’s position as a destination for companies, investment, and innovation, particularly across the Gold Coast region spanning Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.

The relocation reflects continued momentum across Florida’s Gold Coast as companies increasingly choose the region as a base for headquarters, investment, and long-term growth.

As global technology leaders continue to invest in Florida, the Florida Council of 100 remains focused on advancing partnerships and initiatives that support economic growth, expand opportunity, and reinforce Florida’s position as a national hub for innovation and business leadership.
